Our ancient church has a fascinating history! In parts, better than your average Eastenders episode, "A Short History of the Church and Village of Stanford-le-Hope" written by Aubrey Saunders gives a good impression of the life and times of our town and fellowship.
Trust me it's well worth a read - in fact I read it all instead of cracking on with the website!
